Merry Christmas!

As I will likely be online but not necessarily blogging over the next two weeks, I thought I'd take the opportunity to wish people a Merry Christmas or a Happy Holidays whatever you happen to be celebrating.

And one question -- is it legal to strangle a younger relative because he insists that you said you'd buy him Lego products in the mall when in fact you did not and are on record as saying you will not buy him anything Lego or Lego-like?

You sound like a rabid Anti-Legoite to me! Shame on you. They came to this country just like all other toys. Next you'll be telling us they should have their own section at the toy store. Please reconsider.

I've got nothing against Legos, but he's getting a little old for them and I had planned to get something nicer for him.

However, I neglected to speak his dialect where he neglects to hear the part where he's not getting exactly what he wants.

My siblings had enough offspring to populate a small village of idiots. Staying with me was usually consecutive lessons in tough love - but you know, I'm still the favorite uncle.

That being said - buy him a plastic turd from Spencers.
